In June of 2001, Lisa Hepner walked
away from a lucrative career in Nuclear Medicine to pursue her
passion for writing. After the events of September 11th,
2001, Hepner diverted her energy toward compiling, writing
and publishing a book titled Peaceful Earth: Spiritual Perspectives
on Inner Peace and World Peace. Many years later, Hepner
is still writing, publishing, speaking and living her passion.
Hepner lives her life by way of example and inspires others
to do the same.
Hepner is the creative Mastermind behind many products such
as the Peace Prizes, the Peaceful Moment weekly affirmations,
Peace Meditations and the internationally recognized Internet
Peace movie titled "What is Peace?," as well as other
internet Flash movies. Her products and website (www.peacefulearth.com)
have become known as the "ONE stop Peace SHOP" for
spiritual resources for maintaining inner peace & manifesting
world peace.
Hepner is a regular monthly columnist for an Internet magazine
and has had numerous articles published online as well as in
major print publications. Her articles have appeared in
well known magazines such as Magical Blend, The
Sedona Journal of Emergence, Unity Magazine and Science
of Mind Magazine.
Hepner is now working on her next book titled All I really
needed to know about Peace, I learned from a Rubberband,
which is to be considered the "Cliff Notes" on Inner
Peace and World Peace. Hepner is an innovative and creative
thinker, and dubs herself as the ONLY speaker who actually GIVES
money to audience members as part of her presentations!
In college, Hepner wrote a book titled Animals in Education:
The Facts, Issues and Implications and spoke at the National
Animal Rights Conference in Washington, D.C. in 2000.
Hepner has always championed social causes and devotes her life
to making a positive, lasting impact in the part of the world
that she touches.
Hepner
is also a screenwriter currently working on several screenplays.

Hepner studied spirituality for over ten years and was a chaplain
and Certified Practitioner (Spiritual Leader) at a church in Wilsonville,
Oregon.
Hepner is a master storyteller and currently speaks
at churches and organizations throughout the United States.
Hepner is an Advanced Toastmaster and has won several awards in
the public speaking arena. Hepner is currently a candidate member
of the National Speakers Association.
Though Hepner has not had formal training in theatre, her presentation
and style captivate audiences everywhere she goes. Her use
of props and audience participation keeps audience members enthralled.
Her presence, humor, playfulness, passion and sensitivity coupled
with her ability to take complex concepts and make them amazingly
simple and funny is what Hepner has become known for.
Hepner currently resides in Portland, OR with her new husband
(and old cat).
